A City Of Truth
Greetings to all in the name of Yeshua. Our God is
faithful to lead us Amen!! I’m so glad to present this article. It’s about
establishment. Yep! Our God is a God of establishment. In this article we’ll
see how God transforms the lives of His Children from dissolution to
establishment. Let have a look from the book of Zechariah.
Historical Background:
Zechariah wrote his book to encourage Jews leaders
and to rebuild the temple. Their first temple destroyed in 586BC. And because
of their disobedience they were exiled in Babylon in 586BC. And they came back
from the exile about 530BC. The Jews had started to rebuild the temple. They
did this when they returned from Babylon. But other people opposed them (Ez
4:4,5) So the Jews stopped rebuilding the temple for about 15years. They began
to build houses for themselves. They thought God had forgotten them. So the
message of God was given to him. Zachariah chapter 8 is said to be the chapter
of promised blessings for Jerusalem. This chapter deals with the past, present
and future conditions of the Jews and describes God’s view of the Jews.
Past
life of Jerusalem:
God
calls each and every one of us as the daughter of Jerusalem and the daughter of
Zion Amen!! We are His daughter and Sons. God chose the people of Israel as His
children. But they showed their backs to Him and refused to follow His laws and
regulations. They were exiled as a result of their Sins. So God was angry with
them. Verse 2 Says,
“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
Says, My love for mount Zion is passionate and strong I am consumed with
passion for Jerusalem”
They
lost their land, prosperity, authority, peace, Joy, celebration and not only
that but they lost their temple. The city of Jerusalem was once engaged and
cheerful. The temple was always active with offerings and feasts. The city was occupied
with many merchants. And it was populated of old and young people. Old men and
women walked in the streets of Jerusalem with their canes. Children played
joyfully. Farmers were engaged in sowing. Everything was fine in Jerusalem. But
they lost everything. Everything stopped. No sowing, No worship, No glad, No trading,
No one was walking in the streets. It all came to an end. But God remembered
His people again. Verse 3 says,
“And now the Lord says; I am returning to
Mount Zion, and will live in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the
Faithful City; the mountains of the LORD of Heaven’s armies will be called the
Holy Mountains Amen!! Hallelujah
Dear
Brothers & Sisters, Have you lost your Joy, peace and prosperity? Have you
lost your relationship with God? Have you lost your family? Have you lost the joy
of your children? Have you lost the presence of your parents? Israel people
lost everything. But God showed His faithfulness and restored them. He made
them a city of Faith.
Do you know Why God called Jerusalem as the
city of truth?
It’s not by their faithful. It is because
He is faithful to His promise. Right now God is telling you, my son my daughter

the city will be filled with boys and girls at play.
2. Restoration:
He is going to recover everything you lost.

inherit these blessings.
